Responsibilites include assisting the university with a qualitative research study to assess how satisfied members of hte professional planning community are with the curriculum of UAlbany. 

Planning/Research Interests
After living in Boston, Seattle, Columbus, and now Troy, Alison became increasingly interested in the notion of place. She is interested in fostering a sense of community through the built environment. Developing alternatives to our automobile centric liefstyle is paramount to Alison, who believes we can wrest air cities from parking lots and highway ramps with planning.  Alison is also dedicated to finding the economic meas to support such innovative developments and is interested in public finance options and their application to smart growth projects.

 
Thesis/Research Paper Topic
Alison is interested in exploring the myrid public financing options, their advantages, disadvantages, and real-world application to alternative transportation initiatives.
